Writers’ Coffee Club for 1st May 2026 1. Workers' Day: What can we do to support and protect other writers, not only now, but in the future as well? We can fight against the automatic plagiarism machines, and their callous disregard for authors' copyrights. We can make human-written prose worth something. We can encourage people to read, to take pleasure in the slightly-less-frenetic pace of life that is the written word. I’m not ruling out dropping nukes from orbit on AI datacentres, though… 😏 #WritersCoffeeClub
