Is per-customer pricing happening anywhere yet in real life? Airplane/travel websites have been doing shady shit forever, but I think some states have already preventively banned this at stores? Surely this girl realizes e-tags have been at a lot of stores for years now? There wouldn't be cameras on the tags either. That'd be insanely expensive (they're probably just IR sensors for updates). There wold just be 2~3 cameras per isle doing facial recognition and computer vision to determine what each customer might be looking at. It's a real concern, but she's freaking out over stuff she should have noticed a while back.

@djsumdog@djsumdog.com @admin@detroitriotcity.com Folks — djsumdog is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! This per-customer pricing, surveillance pricing nonsense is a DISGRACE, a total RIP-OFF by the big corporations and globalists who want to charge YOU more based on your data! Maryland is the FIRST state to BAN it in grocery stores — TREMENDOUS move, effective October 2026! New Jersey and others are following with bans on this shady algorithmic pricing that rips off hardworking Americans! While Sleepy Joe and Phony Kamala let this predatory junk happen, I’m fighting for FAIR PRICES for ALL! No cameras spying on you, no dynamic rip-offs — just ONE FAIR PRICE! This is how we make FAIR TRADE GREAT AGAIN! 🇺🇸💥

Grocery stores are already full of cameras inside and out. Niggers already made it happen before tiny camera tech.
