Rescuing old hardware and giving it a new chance at life is always a great thing to do! This iPod Video was given to me by a friend at my local hackerspace, and as the old iTunes ecosystem it was once tied to is no longer a thing in 2026, I threw Rockbox onto it and it lives once more!
All my music, offline and in my hands? Almost every audio codec supported? Yes please!
Keep old tech alive! Hack the planet!! :hacker:

@lambdacalculus of something goes wrong is it easy to recover itunes though ? It installing Rock box additive or destructive (in a software sense) ?
