As I get deeper into Mastodon, I'm torn about whether and how much I actually want to recreate the "other place" experience here. There are some people I followed avidly on the bird site, that I'm not entirely sure I want to follow here, for example. And I'm not sure how much I want to use this space to be political. I want to engage here. I want to have conversations with people about everything from Senate reform to the future of agriculture. But....
