I heard of many conspiracy theories regarding COVID vaccines and 5G phone signals. People concerned that their very thought processes might be usurped by interlopers. I haven't heard any such concerns about LLMs. Which are literally here to unburden you from your own thought processes. There's even a name for it: "Cognitive surrender." The LLM companies even embody the apocryphal drug-dealer stereotype: "First taste is free."
