Took the 14yo and friend to the 40th anniversary showing of Aliens and damn if it doesn't still hold up very well. It's a hell of a ride.

"Whatever you do, don't read anything about Aliens 3 and its shitty start." Two good Alien movies. Two good Terminator movies. One good Robocop. One good Highlander. Three ok Star Wars movies. No good Star Trek movies. One good Predator movie. One good Back to the Future movie (maybe two, but I couldn't get through the second). It's important to know when to stop your 80s movie runs.
