@jer_gib @lindsey Not especially: communication failures mean you lose all the properties that would make that useful (in a pinch your state can be an event log, all this still goes wrong)

@flippac @jer_gib Yes, I am in fact conceiving of the "state" recorded by the snapshot algorithm as being an event log.
