Today we visited a french nuclear submarine from the late 60s, early 70s (Le Redoutable). Pretty impressive aesthetically and engineering-wise, even if I’m not that much in war things. This thing had roughly 1600 x Hiroshima destructive power in his bowels. Sickening (and in modern ones, it’s way higher). The user interfaces and control panels were very interesting (and quite innovative for the era). Took a lot of pics.
