My mother keeps handing me old fabric for my sewing, and today she handed me some and asked me to turn it into a skirt. It was a curtain that was already the right length, so all she wanted was for me to cut enough to go around the hips, sew the ends together and add elastic to the waist. So that's what I've spent the past 2 hours doing. I left the elastic channel open so she can adjust it to her liking and sew it shut herself. I also added a pocket big enough for a phone. #sewing
