Anyhow, none of them have any idea how LLMs actually work or what happens under the hood, so it seems complaining to maintainers is all that actually happened. So i started researching and testing things to prevent LLMs from actually taking our shit. You know, actually *do* something about it instead of sitting around complaining and pouting like everyone else did. And that's how cyanide began. Most of the time I spent on was actually figuring out how I could make the content of the generated websites accessible to visually impaired people *at all*. And I found solutions, which I have implemented. Yeah, they are ugly, they are kinda hacky and it's a little bit less convenient than with a plain HTML but it works. It's not perfect but it's a relatively early project. The whole development time, I've talked openly about what I'm doing and the current progress about the tool. No complaints, no contributions, no nothing. Seems like everything's fine and dandy, right? Yeah until I showed that it works on my website. Immediately, some dumb fuck accused me of fucking over disabled people, calling me "a leftist who sacrifices them for the greater good", basically spreading disinformation about me, shitting on me, and accusing me of some strange political agenda I don't have. Any actual screenshots of the accessibility tree? No. Any issues on the git repo? No. Any PRs, patches, even a more concrete explanation on what doesn't work? Fuck no, that'd require actual thinking or effort instead of insulting me. That made me realise, that my relationship with the free and open source community is abusive, and I should treat this community like any other abusive relationship: i should quit, before its too late. I gave up. I gave up on trying to do something about issues like this, because it's always the same end result: someone's dragging you through the mud, whether its someone like Lunduke, or someone who allegedly has the same goals as you. 2/?
