@BobLefridge@mastodon.nz Finalyson can't stand Peters - their anomosity goes way back, and I think has a strong personal aspect to it. He berates Peters just about every episode of the podcast, Cross Party Lines. And sadly, Finalyson doesn't carry much, if any, sway with the National Party these days either - which he himself rather wittily alludes to at the end of the article.

For me, it's keeping the coalition's fractures in the public mind. Without the latest spat, we'd never have known that Luxon wanted to back the wrong side in Trump's war. Is Peters prepping for an early election? @paulh@cloudisland.nz
