@littlesnitch Apple macOS has >100 processes constantly phoning home. I dont use iCloud, it tries to connect anyway. I monitor my own traffic and roughly 80% goes to apple (not in bytes, in connections). I use little snitch to block all of them and this helps. But Apple bypasses Little Snitch for various processes and servers to reach. So additionally, I block those in my DNS as well. And still, macOS works. It sucks, it badly sucks. I use macOS since it was NextStep in the 90s. I do not want to use Linux, because it is the least user friendly ever, this is why it did not succeed on the desktop the last 20 years. But I now got a frame.work notebook and installed Linux. I am sick of this #enshittication from apple.
