I got another referral to Radboud yesterday. Hopefully I'll get a letter from them soon about it, and if not I guess I'll be calling them again in a week.
Also on Wednesday I had another appointment with the psychiatric practice. This time was focusing on "severity of suffering", which largely covered how bad my gender dysphoria was before my transition and what's alleviated since. We'll need to continue the subject in the future, since we didn't really get into my genital dysphoria which is the whole point of this.
All of my appointments at this place end super early, which is frustrating. It feels like it's taking way longer than necessary because every session is cut like 45 minutes short.
Next week I'll have another appointment with them, this time to talk with a doctor about fertility impacts of the operation. I've been telling them I've had a vasectomy performed and don't want children so there's nothing on the subject to discuss, but they insist on this meeting happening anyway.

I had my appointment today with the doctor at the psychiatric practice. She was trans and really nice, which helped reduce my frustration at the whole process a bit.
The main checkbox that necessitated this meeting was to talk about fertility, but that lasted about 30 seconds because I've been married for years, we don't want children, and I had a vasectomy years ago.
The rest of the appointment was establishing that I understand the details of the operation I'm asking for, the importance of aftercare, the intensity of the recovery period, etc. All of which I've been reading about for over a decade now, so this conversation also didn't last long.
The appointment was scheduled for 60 minutes, and lasted 20.
