TwiX chased me off several years ago, and I have tried other social media platforms, yet they've been mostly disappointing. Everywhere I've looked other than here I see a proliferation of trolls, bots, propaganda and intrusive advertising. The Fediverse is the only place where I feel safe from most of that gunk.
