Take into consideration I am also old and brazilian. Cthulhu and Traveller took a while to be published here, so GURPS and Tormenta had more space in the brazilian scene.

@ivancoluchi I enjoy GURPS for human scale games, such as modern, near future, historical or low fantasy. I find that higher power levels call for simpler rules. I'll have to look into Tormenta.
