OK, weird... did some like actual work today. Well, "work" meaning that it is for myself, just sorting some stuff out. I created labels for my ginger beer. I had started I think yesterday, but kind of felt I wasn't quite getting there. Today I spotted a video on Krita, and ended up taking a look at that, and finally got the one little thing that I wanted (a crescent moon), and then moved it back into Inkscape. Gone and printed it. With it being the same size as the labels already on the bottles, I can fit 6 labels on a sheet of paper. I think a marginal shrinking of the size of the label, will give me more. Though I'm not sure if I can shrink it, without making it "too small" and be able to effectively get more. Currently it's designed for 3 inch square. 2.75 by 2.5 would fit, and might not be enough smaller to end up not really working out. The size currently is bigger, and square (despite looking not square). 2.75 by 2.5 would get me 12 on a sheet, with really no extra space, for trimming. Got water out to the birbs, they are enjoying it (I've spotted a bit of active use, beyond, "oh look a bit of water to drink"). Managed food decently, not as I'd like, but good enough. Need to deal with dishes. I guess that's about it. Oh... Wait... Phone calls. Not really liking them... There was a call that was just passing on information. Then the person doing taxes (family member) called to say the taxes were "just about done"... Today (well now yesterday), was April 29, and taxes are due to be filed April 30th. I managed to get the sent stuff printed (though I have to say, something feels "not quite right" with it, because for 2 people's taxes, it is a total of 7 pages, and 2 of those pages are a "contract" with the accountant. It's important to do, so I guess that's fine. But I feel the lack of information, the late having sent it to us (it's not technically late, but really there's not anything that we could do any back and forth about it really), is not really cool. It would probably be better to find someone who we pay, rather than getting this for free, who does it in a timely manner (we got the files to them about as soon as we could). Anyway, I don't really feel up to ranting more about that. Thank you everyone. Take care.
