I was having a conversation with some friends about Star Wars/Star Trek. I mentioned I wasn’t a Star Wars “person” and here’s what that means to me.
I definitely don’t hate Star Wars. The Mandalorian, Rogue One, and some other stuff is top notch sci fi.
I didn’t watch any Star Wars until I was in my late twenties. I have no built in nostalgia for the original trilogy, that hit other people in the feels. (1/2)

I enjoy much of Star Wars, because it’s good, not because I remember it from my childhood. I watched Star Trek when I was a kid so that’s my nostalgia factor like a lot of people have for Star Wars. So even when Star Trek is bad, and it often is, I mostly enjoy it. PS yes, this conversation was brought on by the Iconfactory’s new Star Wars wallpapers. (2/2)
