I have been trying, literally for weeks, to set up a Buy Me A Coffee account for people who want to donate to the Bored Net Group's expenses. They channel everything through Stripe. Stripe insists that I have a business website with an SSL cert. I don't, nor do I want one, and I see other accounts without one. I've been in a loop for two weeks where they keep sending the same form to be filled out, they mark it complete, then send it again the next day.

The only link for assistance refers back to BuyMeACoffee, and they tell me it's because I didn't use a private browser window. Not in the instructions, but I have been doing that for two weeks now. There are no humans involved anywhere in the fustercluck. Just the same circle of bots. Obviously, I need an alternative to this clown show. Anyone have DIRECT experience with a tool that lets people donate five or ten bucks without subscribing to regular donations (like Patreon does)?
