ladies and gentleman, presenting John Lennon. i was aware of stuff like this going on with boys in the ‘50s, but even if i were that age back then, i don’t think i could participate, or even understand it. seems barbaric, vile, almost. although, analyzing it, maybe i'm just a prude. maybe this is some sort of meaningful expression that has been conditioned out of me. idk. there are stories of all of the Beatles doing this, even an interview in which Paul admits it. very fucking weird to me.
