@webmink I assume this will result in laws referencing "Common standards that reflect the state of the art", rather than naming them outright. Are there provisions preventing this?

@jones Seems unlikely since many of the relevant standards have actually been requested by the EU to be created and are only useful when cited in the Official Journal as providing a presumption of conformity.
