People who are naturally minimalist minded don’t seem to understand the challenge it can be to let go of that stack of papers/books/etc we’ve had since 2012.

@ellane You’re right, different people struggle with different things. Our egos love to tempt us to be judgmental about or feel superior to people who struggle with things we don’t, and to be defensive or in denial about things we do personally struggle with. But as someone who’s not naturally minimalist, I like that insight about making space for things I love or actually need. (Despite the little nagging non-minimalist voice inevitably saying “But what if I ever *do* need it?”)
