@minmi@sfba.social I imagine they open the door and it's raining and you are just standing there in the rain and then there is thunder and a lightening bolt. And they you are being carried off to eat and get out of the house. Not that this has ever happened to me.

@futurebird @minmi ok. That had me laughing at the imagery. Then I remembered that this actually happened to me a few years ago. Younger sister just picked me up and procured food with me when I was in a bad way healthwise. Emulating ants without realizing it.

@futurebird @minmi I’m haunted by this (in a good way). I feel like i just participated in a version of this. A longtime dear friend has ALS. Another longtime good friend and I came from different parts of the country to see her together. I had thought there would be heavy conversations. But instead the three of us spent our time together laughing like we were kids. When it was time to go (our friend has very limited energy and tires easily) I realized we had transported one another….. Ok, maybe not a version of the ants’ redirection protocol, but……….thanks for listening anyway.
