The last thing I heard before I had to quit and relaunch VoiceOver on the Mac for the nth time today: “empty null”.
MacOS is so much better to me than Windows in so many ways, so I can't stomach switching to get a better screen reader, but VoiceOver tests my patience more than anything else in my life.

@pesh@mastodon.social I don't know what they have done to that por VoiceOver in the recent OS but it has been locking up on me more than ever. The worst cases is where even pressing CMD+F5 didn't recover it. This is kind of scarry. Though, I am sure, it will be fixed, the fact that the bug exists in the first place, shakes my confidence in the stability of VoiceOver's process.
