"I can't remember the title, or the author, but it was a green book." It's a long shot, buy maybe you can help?
Okay, so I read a dystopian book with a green cover probably over 20 years ago, and subsequently gave it away and have forgotten both the title and author. Women were in charge, and men were second class citizens, kept subservient by things like washing up liquid. There was some sort of chain of corporate stores, possibly located on ships, for some reason, and the name was something like BO$CO - specifically with a dollar sign in the middle.
Have you read it, and do you know what it is?

@HollieK72@mastodonapp.uk I'm afraid that I haven't heard of that one! Did a little quick research, but haven't found it yet. One question: was the phrase "washing up liquid" in the book? If so, I'd strongly suspect that it was an English book rather than American. Americans never use that expression.
