English has the convenient word “creator” when it comes to the person who authored a video. You wouldn’t call that person an “author”, right? I’m wondering what the corresponding word in #German would be: • “Produzent” doesn’t quite fit. • “Schöpfer” sounds a bit weird, but maybe we should embrace that term. • “Video-Gestalter” sounds good. • “Creator” and “Content Creator” also seem to be used in German, but if we can avoid anglicisms, we probably should.
