Request please for anyone who knows Sheffield in the UK. I'm up there on my birthday supporting my daughter who's competing in a fencing tournament at the EIS building on Coleridge Road. Is there anywhere nice within say a 15 minute walk were we could go eat in the evening afterwards? Not really looking for chains, but local experience/advice.

@alyn the EIS in part of an extended out of town retail/sports park in a heavily industrial and rather run down area. I would recommend a short tram journey to the city centre for a choice of excellent independent eats… my pick would be Himawari Japanese Restaurant near Devonshire Green

@alyn Wagamama is probably the best you can do around there unfortunately. If you do go there, it's worth trying to book asap if it's a big event.
