I think the biggest issue is that they want you to run a random script pulled through curl lol
Running any code you don't fully trust on your system is a risk, this exploit shows that if any.
It's real though! Go patch or disable the aforementioned kernel module on your systems ^^

@Purple @gbetous @thibaultmol @darkrat Proof-of-concept exploits exist to efficiently move people past the initial ‘denial’ stage of the reporting process. Notice how no distro vendor took this seriously until they published it? I didn’t interpret their post as a recommendation that users actually run it on their own systems.
