Feeling that psychic toll of being one of only 4 people I see masked at the (very crowded) grocery store... haven't felt this in a while and I'm really in my head about it. The only people I see masked anymore in my area are elderly Asian or Latinx people, and it's always just a surgical mask. I wish we all cared to protect ourselves and one another like they still do. *Of course I also wish that I had the energy to maskbloc more...I do leave a pile of respirators at the entrance when I can (and at the community fridge and free table etc) but I fully respect the local code of not tryna chat with other shoppers; I simply cannnnot be in canvassing mode at Market Basket on a Wednesday (IYKYK).

@xeroxerox We've been masking and distancing for 6 years and counting, and we are impervious to the judgements of others, if they would try. We are all doing the right thing, and while its sad that so many arent, *we are doing the right thing* and there is copious evidence to confirm this. Some days I see zero masked people when Im forced into safeway. Some days I see dozens, across all demographics. Its day by day, but we are 100% masked and I *dare* some fucker to confront us about it.
