The festival of Samhain is celebrated in the Southern Hemisphere on 30th April – 1st May, marking the end of the warmer weather and the first stirring of Winter. As I am into my Crone years, Samhain celebrations now focus more on retrospection, rather than fun and games, although memories of these times will be recalled as the night goes on. A bonfire will burn, and a nice glass of red wine enjoyed while as a family we share stories of loved ones who have passed on, and of our beloved pets who have crossed over the rainbow bridge. Each story weaving the past into the present. Let the celebrations begin. ,
