With the claude wiped my production database story, I see a lot of discussion about the attribution of blame. I do believe that accountability is going to have a significant impact on how this ai stuff plays out, however in this case I find it more interesting to consider whether the developer made more reckless decisions in part because of the way using llms shifts your understanding or attitude towards the implementation.
