@Popehat so question for a future podcast episode - how does this not violate the speech and debate (as well as 1a) protections?

@Danielsand @Popehat I very much doubt Republicans care about violating the constitution with these laws. It strikes me as the legislative equivalent of a Gish Gallop - throw so much trash at the wall that even if none of it sticks, you've still trashed the place and made the residents' lives hell.
