Followed the links and looks like this post is legitimate and the image was doctored.
Unlocking for now, but I would love to see all this fedi-drama live in it’s own community…

Disputes between users are “drama.” Disputes involving instance admins and discussions of defederation are matters of fediverse governance.

I think this is a level beyond drama. This was a deliberate misinformation/smear campaign.
