As a software engineer, I found GDPR far more accessible than US regulations and private contracts. I understood its expectations, even though I did not yet know the implementation path to meet them. GDPR gave me the internal leverage I needed to get data hygiene, data export, and security practices work I wanted prioritized that I otherwise could not have. Grateful for it! #GDPR
