He staged all of his assassination attempts. Every single one. Dude wants to seem invincible to his base and rally them to think leftists are violent. That way he can pass laws that attack ideologies, like being anti fascist, or a socialist, or generally anything left leaning.

Outside at some town in Flyover, PA? Makes sense. A guy just waltzes into the Correspondent's Dinner with a gun? No way.

I still don't buy the story that his ear got shot and magically healed all the way up to look normal again. Saw a joke about it that was something like "He only needs 2 more fake assassination attempts to earn a free sub at Quizno's"

I don't have an opinion either way about possible staged attempts, but if they were trying to make leftists look violent, why would they have used MAGA people for the first two attempts?
