Wouldn't surprise me either way tbh. He's a historically unpopular president who's daily doing things that are getting people killed or making their lives harder, a lot of people probably do want to off him. On the other hand, staging another assassination attempt is exactly the kind of crude showmanship he would go for and that will probably work on his base.

After the very obviously-staged Doordash stunt, I don’t blame people for thinking this was a stunt too. Frankly, that seems more likely than not at this point.
