memorising the full totp code that's about to expire, because waiting an extra 5 seconds for a new code will take too long

My approach is generally to memorise 3 digits, type them in, then the next 3. But I will force myself to remember all 6 in this scenario. (The time saving of this endeavour, was completely eroded by the fact I felt like I needed to tell the internet I did that.)
