And you remind me of the detective work needed to tie a line on a bank statement via PayPal to an item bought on Ebay*, or to tie any courier delivery message with its purchase, so I can know what's arriving. Every purchase generates at least 6 e-mails that don't obviously belong together. The Ebay seller account doesn't match the physical shop name, which doesn't match the registered business name.
*I love everything else about Ebay, getting better stuff from genuine small sellers, a pleasure in complete contrast with the 'evil river' monster Amazon that Cory Doctorow can describe better than I can.
