Another detail worth noting: I liked Harris’s use of the word "unserious." She said something like, "In many ways Trump is an unserious person, but the consequequences of a second presidency would be devastating." "Unserious" succeeds the way understatements succeed. An accurate statement "buffoon" would sound like hyperbole and would come across like namecalling. "Unserious" is descriptive and understated.
