@starwall @radicalrobit also workers are diverse and pretty disunited (at least here in the USA) while the future of AI is like a half dozen companies that can increase the cost at the whims of the shareholders and companies that have made that deal are left with the choice of paying for that or going bust. Really seems like a bad thing for business to relay on in their anti worker paradise but I never accused business people of being cleaver or far thinking

Even if AI is worth the money long term, the winners are whoever have AI and ALSO a team of humans that make them better than the competition, at least where competition is still a thing. AI is going to keep randomly nuking cloud stuff and writing bad code and making bland art, and only humans can improve or fix it.
