@Saorsa Funnily enough while I don't think this solves any of the problems (setting up a snapshotting strategy on btrfs is a pain in my experience and I wouldn't expect casual users to figure that out, let alone the catastrophic corrruption which is still known to happen on btrfs), my backup strategy is actually somewhat related as I zfs send/receive a large zfs pool onto some hard drives that I keep in various places around the country and rotate around when I visit them. But again I don't think this solves any of the fundamental issues, because I had to write a damn shell script for doing this!
