@felix @stroughtonsmith @daringfireball That’s exactly what drives me crazy. When I’m using software, I usually already have the next step in mind: E.g. “Export to file” right now AND THEN do x. My train of thought moves on while the current command is still executed. When an (to me) unpredictable modal appears arecognizepplication task finishes, it interrupts my AND THEN. I'm simply not compatible with this, but I recognize that it's super important to get ratings.
