Github's basically gone down the drain. Try Forgejo, or just jump on Codeberg if you want a hosted version for open source: https://codeberg.org I've had a great time migrating, and as more of us do so, the experience will improve further!! For folks who are wondering: they're working on federation! And you can already use codeberg accounts to log into someone else's forgejo account, so contributors just need a codeberg account and they're good to go as-is, while federation falls in place. https://hachyderm.io/@jenniferplusplus/116477905542543524
