@kim my understanding is that it's because they don't prioritize minimizing audio latency in how the tools are designed. JackTRIP, Sonobus, FarPlay are examples of tools designed to minimize latency (even better than zoom in my experience!) Longer distances make this problem worse but most of the latency is in the software design and hardware setup. For example, if connecting via Bluetooth headphones it increases latency a lot

@arod that makes sense. some people i feel like have a 2-5 second delay even if the ping shows lower. maybe this is why!
