@chandlerc trans panic wasn't a national thing until like one day in the early oughts. Terrifying to see a ginned up moral crusade slowly take-up momentum day after day. I grew up in a red state. Literally no one gave a fuck. One day the monster will turn it's gaze on my children. What started out as the transparently absurd has become fucks in Ohio demanding their daughters be sexually assaulted prior to participating in sports. Jesus fucking wept.
