I've seen a lot of posts in the past few days worrying about the slowdown of Fediverse growth - especially that people appear to have tried it and left again. Many of the arrivals were people seeking to switch from one car marque to another. What they found is a place that prefers bicycles. They'll be back when they realise the true dangers - and, if not, the Fediverse will be fine without them.
