it’s not enough to just not throw stuff away, it’s not enough to simply keep things in good condition the root of this wastefulness problem is Excessiveness. the problem comes with suddenly being able to afford all the things you ever wanted and just swimming in borrowed wealth. this is what every developed country goes through when they get their turn on the economic miracle and it’s what every developed country is now dealing with the consequences of, when said borrow wealth eventually dries out
