Looking for thoughts on the following: I was tending to https://bitlair.nl again today and I see that it getting hammered by crawler bots again. The server is really beefy so it handles it just fine, be it a little bit slower. But I am wondering whether to set up Anubis to block the bots? Like, it does not sit well with me to waste compute and energy to serve empty MediaWiki Talk pages over and over. The counter argument is that Bitlair is already hard to find by people as-is as we have no clue how to do proper promo. There *may* theoretically be people using chatbots to discover Bitlair in a way that a search engine also would.
