I merged the double headers. So now there is a big empty space at the top of the page which I can shove some more navigation items in at some point.
I also set a background with a bit of blurring and it kind of slaps? I blatantly stole the Hero image from Space Leiden to test, but it would be cool to have something to break the monotony. What kind of imagery though? It feels a bit stereotypical to go for circuit boards or code to me

Current progress. I'm going to take a break for a few days before I continue. Lot's off stuff that could still be improved, but the low-hanging fruit is should be accounted for

@polyfloyd how about a really wide shot of the space, perhaps something like a panorama view.
