The writing was on the wall with the release of GNOME 3, which had a ton of commonly used functionality removed because the GNOME developers better than the users, vs GNOME 1 and 2 having been made to operate as users wanted. I jumped ship to MATE as soon as was possible. I don't want a desktop environment that tells me what I want is wrong.

@brouhaha @mcdanlj This user can do that too but instead chose to come here and gripe about it, then griped further when he didn't get his hand held by the dev.
