@topher1kenobe I'm not aware of any remaining mechanism for pasting the primary selection; I think that only clipboard paste remains. As far as I understand, they want to deprecate having one singular action to select content to copy (pasting the primary selection by any means), and want to force using two actions to select items to copy (explicitly copying the primary selection into the clipboard as a copy buffer, and then pasting only from that). I would love factual correction here! But that feels like a step backwards in usability to me. The instant availability of the primary selection has been part of my flow for a lot of decades now. 😁
